Sports Medicine

Overview

Dover-Sherborn High School employs a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer for coverage of practices, home events, and post-season championship events when available. The Athletic Trainer is nationally certified through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer, and Massachusetts licensed through the Board of Allied Health.

DSHS is pleased to partner with Dr. Mininder Kocher of Children's Sports Medicine Foundation. The Children's Sports Medicine Foundation provides oversight for the Athletic Trainer, as well as a physician for home football game coverage.

Cameron's Background

Cameron has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2006 after graduating with a BS in Athletic Training from Springfield College. Cameron also completed his Master's of Education with Springfield College in the field of Athletic Training Education while acting as a Graduate Assistant with The Pride's DIII athletics program. Since then, he has earned continuing education certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a Graston Technique Specialist. 

Cameron spent almost 10 years at the Division I collegiate level, with one year at Iona College and 8 years at Bryant University. Cameron worked with Bryant's Men's Basketball team and enjoyed an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2021. He also worked with Football, Baseball, Women's Field Hockey, and the Tennis programs during his time there. Cameron also spent two years at Springfield College, running an injury rehabilitation clinic and covering Football & Men's Lacrosse. His previous experience also includes two years in high school athletics, and two years as a DME coordinator with a CT-based Orthopedic clinic.
