Bill of Rights Institute  This site has great links for students and lots of information.  It also has interactive study guides and lots of databases that you can research.

National Archives Website  This site is the link to the National Archives and has wonderful info about our national history.

Ben's Guide to the US Government  This is the Government Printing Office website for students and is broken out by age groups.  It has good basic info about the US government and is very user-friendly.

Colonial Hall Website  This site has lots of information about the founding fathers.  A major downside is that it also has lots of pop-up ads.

Library of Congress  Useful for photos, letters and other info from primary sources that are stored and available to the public through the Library of Congress. 

Teaching American History  This is the Teaching American History Website and it has great information on a variety of periods in American history.

 

You may use any of these items for research in our class.
 They have quality information that is factual and appropriate for student use in research and writing.
