| My name is Bethany A. Merck
and I am a Registered Nurse, who graduated from Boston College School of
Nursing with a Bachelor of Science. According to the Massachusetts Board of Education, school nurses,
like teachers must be certified as educators. Presently, I
hold an Initial License as a school nurse and I am required to work in
accordance with the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing Practice Act.
In order for me to administer care that is within the scope of nursing
practice, I must receive medical orders written by a physician. |
