Instructional Strategies & Activities: Introduction to characteristics (physical vs personality). Students choose an animal they share common personality traits with them (ie. smart-owl, strong- bear). Students use colored pencil to illustrate an animal in its environment. Students use foreground, middleground, and background in their drawing. |
