Instructional Strategies & Activities:

                                                             Introduction of mixed media.                                                                                                                  

                                                             Students create and sew art journals together.

                                                             Students plan out ideas in journals and  

                                                             individually create wax resist piece.

                                                             Students write a description of their project using the

                                                             John Collins writing method.

                                                             Students present work to peers in class.

 

Materials Utilized:

A choice of media for art journals (ie. colored pencils, markers,

 crayons, cut paper etc.)

Yarn, needles, scissors

Crayons, watercolor Paper, watercolors, watercolor brushes
