California Mathematics Homepage  -- Developed for K-12 mathematics teachers and students in California, this site includes sections on Real World Mathematics and Numbers in Search of a Problem.  An excellent professional site!

Calculators On-line Center -- the absolute last word in online calculators with over 5,000 examples

The Currency Exchange Calculator -- lists over 200 countries and their currencies; calculates exchanges according to current rates

Dave's Math Tables --This award-winning site provides useful tables and functions for general to advanced math students. Includes discussion groups and recommended links.

e-Math --From the American Mathematical Society, this site provides useful professional resources and information for math educators (e.g., NCTM's latest draft of the Standards document, what's new, and research tools.

Edmund J. Sass Math Site -- Along with numberous links to mathematics-related sites, there are links to math-related rubrics.

Eisenhower National Clearinghouse (ENC) --From Ohio State and the U.S. Department of Education, ENC Online includes Interactive Mathematics Online (activities for exploring algebra, geometry, and chaos); WebQuests (inquiry-oriented web-based activities created by teachers); Interactive Mathematics Miscellany (puzzles and games).

Fun Mathematics Lessons -- This site, by Rice University math instructor Cynthia Lanius, offers a set of tutorials and lessons on interesting topics ranging from cartography, algebra, geometry and problem solving to calculus.

Math-abundance --This witty site offers tutorials on topics from pre-Algebra through Calculus.

Math Forum --From Swarthmore College. Supported by the NSF, this award-winning site aims to "build an online community of teachers, students, researchers, parents, educators, and citizens who have an interest in math and math education."  Includes Ask Dr. Math, discussion groups, Problems of the Week, Teacher2Teacher, curriculum ideas, and more.  Comprehensive, well-organized site, excellent!  Be sure to check out our favorite components.

Math in Daily Life -- yes, it's true, there are mathematical concepts we use throughout our lives; this interactive exhibit features articles about how math affects daily decision-making.

Mathematical Poetry, a Small Anthology --  compiled by Kate Stange

Mathematics Archives --From the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, this site includes links to Topics in Mathematics, Software, Teaching Materials, and Professional Resources.

Mathematics Lessons Database   --A searchable database of Internet-based lessons in mathematics and programs related to the teaching of mathematics.

Mathematics Links   --Sponsored by the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Education, this site offers links to a variety of math information resources (e.g. the history of algebra, links to math journals, an online math dictionary, and a virtual abacus).  Fun to explore.

MathMagic on the Web --Developed by Alan Hodson, MathMagic is a K-12 telecommunications project for teams of students at all grade levels.  It seeks to develop problem-solving strategies and communications skills.

PBS MATHLINE --"PBS MATHLINE is a teacher resource service of public television utilizing the power of telecommunications to provide quality resources and services to teachers of mathematics, grades K-12."  It includes a professional development program.

WebMath -- Developed by Tom Bensky, PhD., this ambitious and creative site provides homework problem-solving help for students at various levels, including Calculus!

What Good is Math? --Created by students at the University of Richmond, this site helps teachers and students answer the question "When will I ever use math?"  Includes a variety of fun online activities that demonstrate the importance of math in daily life.

Statistical Information
FEDSTATS --From the Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy, this site provides easy access to statistical information produced by more than 70 agencies in the United States Government.

Statistical Resources on the Web -- Courtesy of the University of Michigan's Document Center, this student friendly site presents statistics on everything from agriculture to weather.
