You need to make sure that you know the following terms: stream of consciousness, which is where the writer tries to imitate the random flow of thoughts of a character--hence, stream of consciousness. Faulkner does this in "Barn Burning."

You also need to know what a flashback is, a simile, metaphor, and personification, all in addition to the terms on your study guide. Don't forget that "The Found Boat" is also on the exam.

Get a good night's sleep before each of the exam days!
