Joann Kenney is serving in her ninth year as Director of Guidance for the regional school district.   She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College with a major in psychology and minor in criminal justice and earned her masters’ degree in Counseling from Northeastern University.   She has also done post-graduate work at the University of Massachusetts and at Framingham State College.  In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Joann serves as the Advanced Placement coordinator to the College Board,  co-facilities the Peer Helping Program, coordinates the Freshmen Transition Program,  co-chairs the Guidance Advisory Council, and facilitates the Substance Prevention & Awareness Network for the regional schools.
