Beth Hecker received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and her master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.  Beth joined the Dover-Sherborn guidance team in 2004 after serving as a school counselor in Stoneham, Massachusetts for twelve years.  She is presently an Adjunct Professor Cambridge College Education Graduate Program where she teaches a course in School Counseling.

In addition to the day to day responsibilities,  Beth is also crafts the guidance portion of the school newsletter; serves as the military liaison;  coordinates information for State Scholarships (Stanley Koplik Certificate of Mastery); and coordinates information for out of district scholarships.   Beth's Opportunity Periods are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 2:15-3:15 pm.
